Krakom Studios is an independent IP development and representation studio founded by Karl and Karen Hemmings.
We work with creators to develop, position, and represent original storyworlds, with a long-term view toward adaptation across film, television, animation, audio, publishing, and emerging formats. Our focus is upstream. We help strong ideas travel further.
We take on a small number of projects at a time and work with intent. Every IP we represent is given space to develop properly, shaped with clarity, and positioned strategically rather than rushed to market. We believe leverage comes from depth, not volume.
At the centre of our work is the Krakom Mythos, an evolving creative framework that informs how we approach story, worldbuilding, and coherence. It is not a brand exercise. It is a practical lens for developing worlds that can sustain growth, adaptation, and longevity.
Krakom operates as a creator-led studio. We collaborate closely, share knowledge openly, and build long-term relationships rooted in trust and creative ownership. Creators retain control of their work, and representation is always aligned with their ambitions.
Publishing will form part of a project’s journey once adaptation has been secured and leverage established, and where it supports a defined strategic outcome. We do not publish by default. We develop, represent, and unlock opportunity.
